Increasing Math Competency Before the APR -Part 2 of 2
Math is in everything we do. There is data that correlates math success with college success. So how can we align high school and college student math success. Ideas include near peer service learning, programming, teacher coordination and content alignment. Two mathematicians – one former UB participant and one current UB Director – will present on this two-part session providing methods to engage your students’ math competency and assess growth that can be added to your APR.
Part 2- From Macro to Micro: Little Things That Work
This session will address programming options for college and pre-college programs. Specific examples and pre-programming will be provided with a host of resources.
