Thomas R. Wolanin Congressional Internship
The Thomas R. Wolanin Congressional Internship is designed to provide recent first-generation college graduates with an opportunity to participate in in the Federal Higher Education policymaking process. Each intern works full-time with a Congressional Committee or Member office. Prior to their assignment on the Hill, the intern is prepared for their placement during several weeks working with the COE Policy team in Washington.
Your donation to this fund will assist the student with the following:
• Monthly stipend
• Round trip travel to and from Washington, D.C.
• Housing allowance
• Expenses related to post-internship presentations regarding the experience
