Online Course: Essentials in Budgeting
This course provides an overview of TRIO budgets and ways to effectively utilize your budget plan to accomplish project objectives. After a short review of TRIO program-specific regulations and OMB Circulars governing costs, assignments and activities will focus on financial resources in a flexible, productive budget. Assignments include revising the 22-23 budget you originally sent into ED at the beginning of the fiscal year. Participants have access to discussion posts with other course participants for the exchange of ideas and networking opportunities. COE will also host a 30-minute meeting with participants to review your budget (optional).
This ten-day online course has no live meetings to attend but participants are required to turn in assignments and discussions on specific dates. Participants that pass this course will receive a certificate indicating their success.
