Description
The Psychology of Effective Communication: Dealing with the Difficult, Inspiring the Demoralized, and Guiding the Motivated We all know that communicating effectively is one of the cornerstones of effective leadership and management. In our line of work there are program managers who, despite limited resources, meet and exceed program objectives and maintain an energized staff. Conversely, despite their best intentions, there are program managers that fail to meet their goals and have a demoralized team. A key element in both cases is how effectively the program manager communicates. In this highly structured webinar, the facilitators will use interactive activities, and discussions focused on helping TRIO directors, managers and supervisors discover tips and techniques to improve their communication effectiveness. The presenters will pay special attention to communicating with difficult staff members or institutional stakeholders.
