LDTT: New Normal Recruiting - SSS Programs
As the COVID-19 pandemic forced institutions to utilize virtual platforms to engage students and support their needs, it also changed the way TRIO programs conducted business. The institutional pivot produced significant modifications in program offerings, recruitment, engagement, and assessment. Whether programs recruit in-person or online, they should be aware of best practices that significantly impact reaching potential participants. COE’s experienced faculty hosts a timely workshop to assist members with recruiting efforts by highlighting best practices and providing resources to meet project objectives. This workshop is designed to help you think through recruiting and marketing strategies, incorporating technology and personalized materials to increase investment return. With a focus on shared experience, this 90-minute session will allow participants to break out into smaller groups to connect and reflect on implementing new practices and strategies in recruiting new participants in this new normal.
