Priority 4: Financial Aid, Financial Literacy and Admissions
Funded by the U.S. Department of Education, this training increases
knowledge and skills in:1) Financial and Economic Literacy, 2) Transfer
Services and College Selection, 3) Admissions for Pre-College,
Undergraduate, and Graduate Students, 4) Technological Tools to Increase
Participation, 5) Services for Adults and Veterans; and 6) Building
Relationships with Key Aid Administrators.
Each day will begin at 11:00 a.m. EST and end by 6:00 p.m. EST, with two
one-hour breaks.
This is a TRIO federally funded grant which
requires reporting attendance to the U.S. Department of Education
through the Annual Performance Report (APR). Therefore, daily attendance
is mandatory, and will be monitored. Due to the limit to only
participate in one P4 training per academic year, data will be collected
and reported to both the program supervisor and U.S. Department of
Education on those that register but do not attend.
